With fifteen years of experience teaching middle school language arts to students with a variety of backgrounds and needs, Jeanine has a deep understanding of how to empower students to develop independence with their writing and confidence in their reading abilities. With Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York Certifications in 7-12 English, Jeanine is an expert in providing instruction and feedback to middle school, high school, college students, and adults about their writing and reading processes. Jeanine’s primary interests are writing improvement, helping students find their passion in reading, and providing students with the skills they need to flourish in and out of the classroom.

As a student of literature herself, Jeanine consistently researches the latest trends and titles in middle grades and young adult literature and nonfiction. Jeanine is an expert at matching students with titles that will fit their interests and skillsets.

When Jeanine is not tutoring, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cheering her children on at their sports events, reading, and being physically active.
